CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
City Council meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Sweet Home City Hall, 3225 Main Street. City Council Agendas are typically available by the Friday prior to the Tuesday Council meeting.
All City Council meetings and events can be found on the City's agenda page, along with packets of meeting materials. The agenda will tell you what business the City Council will discuss and potentially decide on at each meeting.
LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES
The Sweet Home City Council adopts Resolutions and Ordinances throughout the year. The City Charter sets out how Resolutions and Ordinances are handled and when they are effective. Ordinances are rules, regulations, and codes enacted into law by local governing bodies. Resolutions are typically formal decisions and/or policies.
